The SLTA app for iPhone and iPad

The SLTA strives to encourage training for all those involved in the Licensed Trade to promote good practice in the interests of members and customers. The App enables members to access the latest content and workbooks for the industry.

By law, basic staff training must last for a minimum of two hours and cover the 16 mandatory units prescribed by Scottish Government. Our digitisation of this allows for new bartenders to take the course prior to starting their career, frees up time for bar owners and managers, and creates a standard course for all.
As well as having a fantastic community base to get connected with jobs and industry updates.

All content can be accessed from the app 24/7 and members will have their own account which is a real-time, online profile page that includes their CV which displays personal details, references, employment history, education history, photos, videos of the member and other information about them.
